Ross Gosky, Ph.D.

Dr. Ross Gosky is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences. His areas of research are Bayesian Statistics and Capture-Recapture Modeling. He is a member of the GEAR UP Evaluation Team in CARE, which is a project related to college access for underserved communities. He is also working in CARE to bring a SAS Certificate Education Program for professionals to CARE. When not working on projects for CARE he enjoys spending time with his family, running, both college and professional sports, and reading. Dr. Gosky believes CARE’s projects can be used to serve the community to make data-based decisions for better outcomes. The projects will also be impactful and provide mentoring experiences for the next generation of academic researchers.
