Thomas Mueller, Ph.D.

Dr. Thomas Mueller is a Fine and Applied Arts Associate Professor in the Department of Communication. His primary areas of research include psychological dimensions of consumer behavior and public relations. His project in CARE are directing social media campaigns for CARE and New River Light and Power. This is in addition to consulting with New River Light and Power to improve consumer messaging and the perception of New River Light and Power by consumers. Dr. Mueller enjoys honing his analytical and technical software skills to better serve CARE, self-publishing books, riding his bicycle, and going for morning walks and jogs. He is also the senior member of ASU’s faculty in residence program. As well as, the founder and chair, for the past 8 years, for the Active Living Residence Learning Community. Dr. Mueller supports CARE’s mission to do “Analytics for Good” and seeks to create opportunities for student involvement in CARE to ensure environmental stewardship.
